A short checklist
- Confirm the OpenCC type matches the audience (Taiwan vs Hong Kong).
- Search for known one-to-many characters in names.
- Read headings and the first paragraph of each section.
- Check UI strings, buttons and legal footnotes if those exist.
- Open the file on a machine with a proper CJK font.
People vs machines
A native reader of the target standard will catch vocabulary the dictionary missed. For a blog post, a 10-minute skim may be enough. For a contract, budget more than that.
